Since the age of 16, I had spent my whole adult life working for other people but in 2006 I began to get thoughts of starting my own business. This came as a surprise, we had just moved to a new area of the country, we had a young family and running my own business was never part of the plan. It was, however, a result of responding to the promptings of Holy Spirit and taking that all important step of faith into the unknown.
I initially saw it as a means to generate income beyond what I would enjoy by working for someone else, but God’s plan was far bigger than that. He was about to take me on a journey that would above all else, bring revelation of Him as my Father, help me understand my Identity as His son along with a growing realisation that I Carry His Kingdom wherever I go.
Stories and Kingdom Principles
Fourteen years on in January 2020, whilst taking some much-needed time away from the business to recharge mentally, physically, and emotionally, Holy Spirit started to speak to me about the next season of my life.
- He asked me to change my work rhythm and make space to “pass on what I carry and what I have journeyed”
- He showed me that the stories of the journey so far coupled with the truth of the kingdom principles I had learnt, was a potent weapon that tears down the culture of this world and brings Heavens culture into being.
- He told me to invest in myself and my own well being. Something I had neglected for far too long.
So thats what I am doing.
